The super-bright 4.3” HG1G TFT LCD series of touchscreens offer a high resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, and a vivid 65K colour display with a brightness of 800cd/m2. With most of the features and functionalities found in a larger screen, including remote monitoring and control and an FTP function, HG1G also supports multiple communications – up to four protocols simultaneously – and has a best-in-class LED backlight life of 70,000 hours! This provides many years of operation, as the life is extended by a backlight that can be automatically switched off when the unit is not in use. HG1G touchscreens can also be mounted with the screen orientation set to portrait or landscape mode depending on space requirements. It’s flexible and small enough to fit in a tight space, and priced to fit a tight budget.

Supported communications
This NEW super-bright HMI supports FTP communication and multiple communication protocols – up to four protocols simultaneously. Built-in web server IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) functionality allows browser-based remote access from any internet-connected device, at any time.

Environmental ratings
The HG1G HMI has a wide range of operating temperatures from -20 to 55 degrees C, and is rated IP66F/IP67F and NEMA 4X to allow for installation outdoors, or indoors in wash-down areas. It is also suitable for installation in Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations and has UL 508 approval.

Easy-to-use software
The HG1G HMI is programmed using WindOI-NV4 software, part of the Automation Organizer suite. IDEC WindOI-NV4 software is easy and intuitive using drag-and-drop functionality and a built-in library of over 7000 images.

HGnG – The high performance HMI solution

Sharp Displays with Excellent Clarity, Brightest in the market

The High Performance series of touchscreens are high definition TFT LCD displays with resolution of SVGA 800×600 pixels (8.4” to 12.1” display) and VGA 640 X 480 pixels (5.7” display) . With 65,536 available colours to provide realistic images and the brightest displays in the market these screens provide clear, sharp and bright displays even in environments with low light.

Multi-media
The 8.4” & 10.4” HG3G and 12.1” HG4G feature a built-in video interface (Video In) and audio interface (Audio In/Out). That means a video camera or microphone can be connected and used in the following ways:

• Display video images on the touchscreen display
• Play movie files on the touchscreen display (MP4 supported)
• Play audio files on the touchscreen display

Using the video and audio interfaces, you can closely monitor machine conditions. You can also play your operation manual as a movie or play movie files to give information or instructions to a user or customer. This makes it easy to explain detailed information and makes it a useful feature when you are troubleshooting.

Remote Access, Monitor and Control
In addition to the remote access capability of IDEC HMI Touchscreens and PLCs to upload, download and use Pass through programming via the Ethernet, you can now remotely monitor and control IDEC OI Touchscreens with a web browser on your computer, tablet or Smart phone. This is an efficient way to remotely troubleshoot, test and do maintenance regardless of your location. Whether you are vacation or at your office thousands of miles away, less time and money spent on travel expenses is savings in your pocket.

Easy I/O Control
Depending on model size, up to 4 MicroSmart expansion digital I/O modules can be mounted on one HMI Touchscreen , eliminating the use of a PLC and saving space in the panel. This also means that the project programming can all be done in the operator interface utilising parts and scripts to do simple I/O control.

FT1A SmartAxis Touch – HMI & PLC in one Smart solution

Many small scale applications such as simple machines could benefit by using a programmable graphical interface along with a discrete and analogue controller and I/O, but don’t have the panel space or the budget for separate components. The FT1A SmartAXIS Touch address this need by combining operator interface and control in a single compact package, all programmable with IDEC’s PC-based software.  The FT1A Touch is available in 12 I/O and 14 I/O configurations with analogue I/O expansion capability suitable for advanced analogue monitoring and control.

Super bright, 65,536 TFT Colour LCD
With so many colour combinations, an intuitive and crisp graphical user interface can be constructed with unparalleled visibility. The 65K TFT colour unit is rated at 400cd/m2, while the monochrome unit is rated at 740cd/m2. With 32 levels of brightness control, the backlight can even be adjusted according to the surrounding conditions.

Drivers for IDEC and other PLCs
The FT1A Touch can easily be configured to communicate with DEC or other PLCs such as Siemens, Rockwell (Allen Bradley), Mitsubishi, Omron, and many more.

Ethernet Connectivity
With the embedded RJ45 Ethernet port, FT1A project file scan be remotely uploaded or downloaded over an Ethernet connection. Critical logging data can also be retrieved quickly.

Modbus TCP or RTU
The built-in Ethernet ports allow the FT1A Touch to be configured as a Client (Master) or Server (Slave) on the Modbus network. Modbus RTU (Master) is also supported. With these capabilities, FT1A Touch can communicate with other PLCs or devices using Modbus protocol.
